Hello there, I'm Emily! 

I'm a Graphic Designer and avid consumer of media. I am very interested in the correlations between activism art and social movements and progress and I think that as artists, we have a responsibility to help shape perceptions of change. As the great Toni Cade Bambara said, the role of the artist is to make revolution irresistible.

I currently serve as the Senior Media Specialist in the Office of Admissions at Stephen F. Austin State University and am responsible for all major recruitment publications for the University. I am a certified SFA Online Instructor and I am currently pursuing my MA in Advertising and Public Relations and will graduate May 2022.

I love coffee, great movies, and I strongly believe that dessert should be chocolate based... not fruit based. I'm raising a few tiny humans to love people and change the world, and I want to teach and encourage young designers to do the same.
